Several modifications were undertaken to improve handling characteristics and make the Buchon look like a WWII German Bf-109.- In 2009 the Air Fighter Academy, located on the Island Usedom, Germany bought the plane. It was then reassembled and overhauled at MeierMotors in the south of Germany.
