Sandora Aviation of Caboolture Qld, Australia restored this CAC built Mustang for its owners over a five (5) year period. The Aircraft has been configured with rear seat and full dual-controls and has been painted as P-51D-NT Mustang A68-769 “Snifter” in Post WWII markings.

History

Delivered 1 AD ex CAC on February 20th, 1948. Stored successively at Benalia, Tocumwal, RAAF East Sale & 1 AD. Sold for scrap August 24th, 1957. Flying as VH-MFT from 2002.

Currently airworthy, registered and licensed in Australia.
