After the Army had completed its evaluation the airplane was turned over to the CAA and served as NC219 during the war years. Following a ground up restoration with new wood and Stits covering, NC219 has been hangared since 1973. this is the oldest UPF on the FAA register and one of the very few YPT’s remaining. This WACO has the original USAAC Data Plate. Same owner since 1966.
