History
After World War I, Scout 38898 was sold to the Wilson Aero Corp of Burbank. Roy Wilson was one of the chief pilots on the film ‘Hell’s Angels’. The Scout then went to Paul Mantz in 1936. While the records are incomplete, this S-4C was almost certainly used in films such as ‘Dawn Patrol’ and ‘Hell’s Angels’.
